Hello! I’m Sully Barrett, a writer and filmmaker living in Boston, MA.
I’m a second-year Media and Screen Studies major at Northeastern University, with minors in Linguistics and English. I am a consultant at the NU Writing Center, where I provide writing feedback for faculty and students at all levels. I am also the Deputy Editor for Artistry Magazine, an online & print publication that features student work in arts and culture.
This spring, I will be starting a 4-month internship at CNBC where I will be working with CNBC.com and the Breaking News Desk.
This summer, I directed & produced a short documentary in the UK about London’s gin culture. I also completed a production internship with Designworks Collective, the Nashville-based holding company of brands like Olivina Men and Paddywax Candles, where I created all kinds of video, photo, and design content for social media.
Before moving to Boston, I grew up in Nashville, TN for eighteen years. In my free time, I enjoy painting, reading, attending concerts, and playing chess.
